I would like to welcome you to Northamptonfire.org, the official web site of the Northampton Fire Department. It is my hope that this site will offer a new an interactive link between the community and the evolving role of the fire department.   This site offers many opportunities to understand and explore the variety of services that the department offers to the community. As you will see, the Northampton Fire Department is a dynamic organization in transition. As the department continues to evolve it is the mission of the fifty-five uniformed personnel is to provide professional, high quality services that meet the communities changing needs.

     The development of this web site represents the department's proactive drive to become more involved and partner with the community in an effort to promote safety. As you explore this site you will find several opportunities to obtain safety information and learn more about the department's history, current events, procedures, and operations. In addition this site is equipped with an emergency message center that will be continually updated when an emergency situation faces the City of Northampton. This message board will provide the community with up to date information and advisories.
